Bill Gault aced the 17th hole at La Purisima during our monthly tournament on June 9, 2007. Bill hit a 7 iron four feet short and the balled rolled right in. Nice Shot!
During Team Play on January 19 at Antelope Valley Country Club, Bud Kercenneck “Aced” hole number 17. It was a shot-gun start and he started on 17. The first shot of the new season netted a 1. The greens were fast, Bud’s ball hit the fairway just in front of the green, climbed the mound, rolled to the back of the green and then turned left rolling 25 feet downhill, into the hole. A great way to start a round!
Sunday, April 20, 2008 during the President’s Cup Qualifying / Monthly tournament, on the fourth hole, Chuck Dinatale “Aced” the hole after watching two shots from his foresome, one was six feet from the hole, the next shot was three inches from the hole. Evidently you have to be close to the hole in that group. Great shot Chuck!
Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the La Purisima tournament, Gene Vano ACED the difficult hole #3. Playing approximately 126 yards Gene’s ball found the hole. Gene's choice of clubs was a pitching wedge. Nobody saw the ball go into the hole. There was a glare on the green from the morning sun. Gene’s very first Hole In One! Congratulations on a superb shot!
